Pins & Bushings for Excavators, Cranes and Heavy Equipment
When a pin seizes or a bushing wears out, the machine stops earning. We machine replacement pins and bushings to your sample or drawing at our shop in Mississauga — usually quoted the same day you call, and often turned around within one.
No drawing needed. Bring in the worn part and we'll measure it, match the material, and make you a new one.
What we make
- Excavator bucket and boom pins
- Crane and lifting equipment pins
- Bronze, steel and hardened bushings
- Oversized pins for worn bores
- Hardened and ground finishes
- Grease-grooved and drilled pins
- One-offs, matched sets, or full production runs
Industries we work with
Pins and bushings wear out on anything with a moving joint. Most of what comes through the door is off construction and lifting equipment, but plant maintenance is a steady part of it too.
How a pin job runs
Bring the part or call
Bring in the worn pin or bushing, or phone us with the dimensions. Either is enough to get started.
We measure it
We check the worn part against the bore it runs in, and work out whether a standard size or an oversized pin is the right answer.
You get a price
Same day in most cases. We'll tell you the material we'd use and why.
We machine it
Turned, hardened and ground where needed, grease-grooved and drilled if the original was. One piece or a matched set.
Common questions
Can you make a pin without the original?
Usually yes. If the pin is gone entirely we measure the bore and the linkage it sits in and work from that. Bring the machine part if you can, or send photos with a tape measure in shot.
What if the bore is worn oversize?
Then a standard pin won't fix it — it'll be loose again in weeks. We machine oversized pins to suit the bore you actually have, which is a large part of why people come to us rather than ordering a catalogue part.
Do you harden the pins?
Where the application needs it, yes. We'll talk through what the pin does and recommend the material and finish to suit — a bucket pin and a light linkage pin are not the same job.
Will you do just one pin?
Yes. There's no minimum order. Single-piece rush jobs are normal here, and they're often the ones larger shops turn away.
Where are you located?
Our shop is at 1075 Meyerside Drive, Unit 10, Mississauga. We're open seven days a week and walk-ins are welcome.
Why operators call us
Same-day quotes
Phone us with the dimensions or bring the part in. You'll have a price the same day, not next week.
No minimum order
One pin or a full set. We take the single-piece rush jobs that larger shops turn away.
Made from your worn part
Lost the drawing, or the machine is old enough that no one has one? We reverse engineer from the part itself.
Rush and breakdown work
Downtime is the real cost. We're open seven days a week and take emergency work by arrangement — if your machine is down, call and tell us what you need.
Related work
A worn pin is usually a sign the rest of the machine has been working just as hard. Most of what we do sits alongside this — the same shop, the same day.
Send us the details
Dimensions, a photo of the worn part, or a drawing — whatever you have. We'll come back to you the same day with a price.
