Machinery repairs and replacement spares, machined in Mississauga. A part breaks, the supplier quotes twelve weeks, or the machine is old enough that nobody makes the part any more — we remake it, usually quoted the same day you call.

Common questions
Can you make a part that's no longer manufactured?
Yes, and it's a large part of what we do. As long as there's enough of the original left to measure — or a drawing, or even the machine it fits into — we can work out what it needs to be and make it.
The part broke in half. Is that still usable?
Usually. Two halves tell us the overall length, the diameters and where the stress was. Bring both pieces if you have them, and anything that was attached to it.
Can you make it stronger than the original?
Often, yes. If a part keeps failing in the same spot, copying it exactly just repeats the problem. We'll suggest a change in material or geometry where it's worth making, and tell you if it isn't.
How fast can you turn a spare around?
It depends on the part and what else is on the machines, but breakdown work gets priority. Call and describe it and we'll give you a realistic answer rather than an optimistic one.
Can you make spares to keep on the shelf?
Yes. If a part is a known weak point, having a spare made while the machine is still running costs far less than waiting until it fails. A lot of our repeat work is exactly that.
